Just one cucco...right?

For those of you who follow me on twitter, this is the chicken that we rescued on the 14th of this month on the side of the freeway. By its size and age, it came from a slaughtering truck. Its very unlikely it was from anything else. Chicken farms and slaughtering factory are very prevalent in the area I reside in sadly but this girl got to see another day when she fell from her escort to her death. She is now happily situation on a farm with 20 other chickens where she will live a long happy life.

She just stayed where ever she was set down so before we went to take her to her new home we snagged a few quick photos.

No chickens were harmed in the making of this photo. ;D
